Iain delivered and commissioned the first Biomethane to Grid project in the UK, including inventing the fundamental design principles, securing the various GDN compliance requirements, maximising the supply chain and achieving regulatory approvals. He has since directly managed or contributed to completion of over 40 BtG projects. He has over 46 years gas industry experience in technical, managerial and regulatory capacities in gas distribution and transmission, including leadership of the Distribution National Control Centre, at that time this meant ensuring safe and efficient operation of every controlled gas network downstream of the NTS
